HAMPTON BEACH STILL A MESS
I took a ride down to Hampton Beach yesterday. What a mess! The construction that was suppose to be stopped for the season still continues. Some of the businesses are not open yet. Rental signs are everywhere. I'm sure they will have it straightened out shortly. Add to that the sand removal trucks. Due to the recent storms Hampton Beach now has too much sand. Approximately 500 truck loads of sand are being moved up to Wallis Sands State Park that lost their sand during the storms. One of the Beach workers said it was very discouraging to have worked so hard the weeks before the storm to get everything ready and then the Nor' Easter hit.To add insult to injury the "Red Tide" has now spread all the way to Cape Code. The worse it's ever been. So forget the shell fish and have an Italian Sausage. Hopefully all these problems will get straightened out before the fourth of July.
