North Hampton School Cynco Demayo Update

Hats off to the students and parents at the N. Hampton School for an outstanding turnout and a successful event. This was the first time the school had done a 100% Spanish theme and was was great to see. The students performed their songs like pros and the parents responded with enthusiasm. I was not sure what to expect, you here so much negativism about parent support for school programs. When I arrived (now remember this is 5:15 on Friday night) I had a difficult time finding a place to park! So why am I telling you this? Many people from all over keep asking me about the schools in the Hampton area as this is a major consideration in making a move to the area. Well Now I can tell you THE SCHOOLS ARE ALIVE AND WELL!!

NO. HAMPTON MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENTS NIGHT

NO. Hampton Middle School students will perform CORAZONCITOS

This evening is parents night at the No. Hampton Middle School and they are in for a real treat. Even though today is May 6th the celebration will be for May 5th Holiday. The Kindergarten class has learned all the words to Margarita Valederrama's "CORACONCITOS" and will open the festivities with this up beat children's song about the universe. Hope you can make it!

Lake Winnipesaukee from a Scenic Sopt

Lake Winnipesauke

Okay no Vespa talk today. If you head up route 16 from Portsmouth and take the Alton Bay exit you can take a ride around Lake Winnipesauke. This is a great day trip. You can do it quickly in about 3 hours or really enjoy all there is to offer and take all day. I would suggest leaving around 8am. This will give you the option of deciding how long you want to spend discovering this wonderful area.

Hampton Vespas

RETRO VESPA

Okay! I know I am suppose to be telling you things about Hampton NH and the seacoast area However there is no better way then on a bike, motorcylce or on a Vespa to really get out there where cars can't park. For example if you were to take your motorcycle with load pipes through Rye Good Luck! But with a Retro Vespa completely restored and all shined up people would actually smile at you. This model runs about $3995 (love that basic black) has a six month warranty and a rebuilt engine. All right enough. If your interested contact Robin Arnold and please tell her you saw this on The Hampton NH site 603 433-2020. Retro Vespas rule in NH and The Seacoast. Vintage is beter especially when in come to scooters.

VESPA VESPA AND MORE VESPAS

ANOTHER BEAUTY

Now, tell me this would not be a blast for around town, the beach and even the back roads with 150cc of two stroke power and a six month warranty. This is an investment. This guy won't loose value over the years I would guess this would be a late 70's model. Probably a GL but what we are doing is putting the most reliable of all the Vespa motors the 150 cc in all the scooters. Because of their age they can all be registered as antiques. Don't forget the 6 month warranty. This model would run about $3995. There are tons of extras well.

Restored Vespas

Real 150cc Vespa restored

This has got to be a tease for people who live outside the area. These Vespas are lovingly restored with either new or rebuilt Vespa motors. They come with a 6 month warranty and are ready to ride. With or without sidecar. Yes in NH and most states you would need a motorcycle license. I have always been a scooter fan I also have a motorcycle. One thing that really gets my blood boiling is these 49cc scooters that are just not safe. How many times have you inched by on of those uderpowered disasters as they teater on the edge of the pavement. They are accidents waiting to happen. They have just enough power to get you into trouble but not enough to get you out. Vespas on the other hand have 150ccs of two stroke torque to wisk you out of harms way. They have a very easy to operate hand clutch and shifting is a snap. So if your thinking of getting 80 miles to the gallon this sumer talk with us and let us convince you that Vespa is the way to go. They start at $3995. You Can pay up to $3,000 for the little 50cc knock offs. We get a few new ones in every other week and would be glad to send you a list.

NEWCASTLE COMMON

ILLUSION AT NEWCASTLE COMMON

The folks in Newcastle try to keep this gem to themselves. Well too bad! It's located on route 1-B just north of rye. Just keep coming up 1A turn left and left again. This will bring you by the Wentworth by the sea. The Common is about a mile past that on the right. Plenty of parking, nice small beach. It has a central common with swings and slides for the kid's. It's right at the mouth of the Piscataqua river so if there are any large ships coming or going you'll be close enought to hop aboard

AIRPORT CAFE

DC3

I Have mentioned this before but that's okay. This is written with a local perspective and we locals are creatures of habit. So There! Get to the Airport Cafe early on Sunday to get a good seat and avoid the lines. The food is good and reasonably priced and the service is SSLLOOWW!
But this gives you time to look around at all the stuff and watch some planes coming and going on the grass strip. Many people will fly in for breakfast. The biplane rides are now running so you can take advantage of a 20 minute flight around the beach. Definitely a blast. Well enough on that. I've got to get to the Airport Cafe before you do. It's right over the bridge on route one just across the Hampton town line in North Hampton. See Ya There!
