. I love my Vespa !! It is fun, functional, & to me, it is a work of art. Before I bought it, I did a lot of research & found the master of Vespa restoration. He is a true artist, but also listened to my wishes. Such as real leather on all the seating, including a great knee saving leather bumper around the sidecar. It is PERFECT !! Vespas mean different things to different people. To the younger generation, they are symbols of independence & a cool little vehicle. To us older folks, Vespas are nostalgic, a way to bring back many fond memories. A Vespa is not a motorcycle, there is no social stigma attached to riding one. No radiator to boil,no valves to grind, no battery to run down, no fuel pump to fail, no starter to stop starting, maybe your 2nd car shouldn't be a car. I am now taking custom orders for 1960s era Vespas. I will help you decide on options you would like, and color ideas. It is about a 3 month process from beginning to end, when it will be delivered to your home (within 100 miles of Boston), started up, & I will give you a lesson on riding & it's oh so easy maintenance.
